If you value or love something, keep it close, cherish it and never give it up.
Just because your bigger/stronger doesn’t mean you need to throw your weight around.
The very young, the very old, the very small and the very sick are deserving of gentleness and respect.
If something is worth doing, do it with worth, and with joy.
If you see someone sad, go cheer them up, even if it just means sitting close to them.
Always take time to Play. Play is just as important as anything else.
If something hurts, stop.
Give all you have, even if all you have is a ratty old toy or a beat up ball. If you give that gift with true love in your heart, it is the richest gift around.
You don’t need a tail to show happiness.
The tiniest things can hurt and the biggest things can be no big deal.
When people are mad, they aren’t always mad at you. Give them time and return.
Caring is love. Even the smallest dog can guard a door.
Sometimes you just gotta stand up for yourself and your rights. Starting an argument isn’t honorable, but defending your honor is.
If something is bothering you, just move to another location. Nothing is solved with violence.
Only chase cats if they want you to. If they don’t wanna play, what’s the point?
Always think the UPS box is for you/ Treat everyday with surprise and wonder, and hope.
Even on the same (walk) path, new things can be found everyday if you look, and sniff.
Because you cannot cry, doesn’t mean you cannot grieve.
You are not pleasing someone else, if it hurts you.
Be loyal to those you love. Treat them like the most cherished gifts of all, and keep them very close. Be happy to see them, and sad when they go.
Sometimes a friend will need to lean on you. If you are strong enough, bear their weight, but the soul can also be strong as well. Friends can lean on that as well.
When all around you is in utter chaos, finding loved ones is the best remedy. A good belly rub is worth its weight in gold as well.
A plain dog biscuit given with love and excitement is much more enjoyable than a steak given in anger and punishment.
Never be afraid to try something new, it might be really fun.
Never be afraid to trust in those people who are the most special to you. If they love you as much as you love them, they won’t let you down.
Treasurers can be found in the most unexpected places. Even under some old dried leaves!
Always judge someone by their heart, soul and intent. Not by how they dress, or look.
Dogs who live pampered lives and have tons of toys are no different in heart and soul then those who wander alone on the street.
Even a trip to the vet can be fun, if you look at the trip as a journey and not just what is at the end of the road.
At the end of the day, a good sleep is very important. Always be comfortable, stretch out and have big dreams. If you’re going to chase rabbits in your dreams chase giant rabbits!
